"Victorious Women Living For Christ"

By Irene Cooke

Victory: the over coming of an enemy or an antagonist achievement of mastery or success in struggle or endeavor. (Webster’s Dictionary)

Victorious: Having won the victory; relating to the characteristic of victory. (Webster’s Dictionary)

Who is a victorious woman, she is a woman of faith who believes that the power of God will work in her life. Remember the women with the issue of blood (Matt 9:20) , she had an issue for twelve long years and none of the doctors she had seen could help her sickness. The bible says she thought to herself that if she could touch the hem of Jesus’ garment she would be made whole. Her life was in danger but she was willing to take a chance. In those days women were not allowed to be out in public with her condition but she believed in the power of Jesus so she touched Him and He knew someone had touched Him. He turned to her and said "be of good courage your faith has made you whole". Sometimes you have issues in your life that need to be dealt with everyone’s issues aren’t the same, your may be your children or husband, no matter what the issues are if you would just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment he will make you whole. Believe in Him, trust in Him and He will make you a whole person a victorious women in Christ. You can become the kind of women who is willing to do whatever it takes to connect herself to Jesus. She has victory because she is steadfast unmovable always abounding in the wok of God (1Corinthians 15:58) .

The victorious women is a praying women, remember Hannah (1 Samuel 1:11). She was a praying women, she prayed honestly from her heart for God to bless her with a child although she wasn’t able to have children she believed that God was able to open her womb. Hannah prayed honestly to God and He did bless her with a child ( nothing is too hard for God to do ). "But with out faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrew 11:6) . Hannah continued to pray to God after she convinced and give birth to her son (1 Samuel 2:1-11) . She was a woman who believed in the power of prayer. Hannah was a victorious woman because of her heart-felt relationship with God. The word of God helps us to know who He is and prayer brings us closer to Him, fasting helps our flesh to be quieter so that we can hear Him better. Our God is an awesome God!!

Are you a victorious woman in Christ? Check yourself to see if you are displaying these characteristics. A women who is victorious is not bound by circumstance, she is a women of conquest, triumph and excellent, a victorious women is not an ordinary women she is extraordinary because of the power of God’s anointing flowing through her life. Give our Lord Jesus Christ all the praise because He didn’t design us to be ordinary. (1Peter 2:9) "But your are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light". Women of victory have yielded themselves to God (Hebrew 12:11; Romans 6:13) . She doesn’t faint when the testing of this life confronts her with problems because she knows that her testing is designed to strengthen her for service to God almighty. If we are weak how can we pull someone up out of the mud if this life in world. So she yields to the Holy Spirit as he guides her into submission to God’s will by faith. (Hebrews 11: 6) "But without faith it is impossible to please Him" . A victorious women is not perfect but she is perfected through faith in the blood of Jesus (Roman 3:25; Colossians 1:28) . The blood of Jesus has covered her mind and actions as she yields herself to the blood. When she surrenders herself, a new mind is developed in her not just any old mind but the mind of Christ that helps her to understand the perfection of God’s will for her life. when you go after God you will be perfected in Him. His blood covering your sin; His righteousness covering your unrighteousness; His perfection covering your imperfection. God works from the inside out He wants to perfect you on the inward part (heart)

(Psalm 51:6) . A women who has victory is Christ understanding who she is doesn’t need anyone to approve her. God has given her vision because she yielded herself to Him and the vision of God has given her will come into it’s fullness, the more you decrease; meaning die to self desire. The more you die to self the more God will manifest Himself in you, who are His earthen vessels (2 Timothy 2:20-21). You are God’s vessels on earth and the way He manifests Himself is through us and on us. (2 Corinthians 4:7 ) "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" . I want to be illuminated by the light of God in me and through me; God be glorified in me hallelujah.

Smith Wiggles Worth wrote "God in you is a living substance a Spiritual nature and are begotten of God’s word so life to you. Faith in God’s word will take you to the place where God reigns and you will drink from the His bountiful store’. Christ does live in you when you have the Holy Ghost but the life that you live in the flesh you live by faith, the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to you through the word of God. The living word is active, it causes things to move, it is affective it causes things to change the word of God is acting , speaking, thinking, praying, singing, to God’s praise, honor and glory. You have faith through God and by the help of the Holy Spirit who guides you into a love relation with God. (Galatians 5:5-6) "for we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avail nor uncircumcision; but faith which work by love ". Remember you will be tested and you will go through trials; but you are brought out for the glory of God, if God be for you who can be against you (Roman 8:31). You will have victory even in your suffering they are but light afflictions which will work for you a far more exceeding and eternal glory (2Corinthians 4:17). You get to know Christ through your suffering, your endurance and steadfastness of your faith in the trying times, continue to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
